According to the General Administration of Customs on June 21, on June 20, 2019, the Lao government officially notified the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) that there were several African swine fevers in the country. In order to protect the safety of China's animal husbandry and prevent the introduction of the epidemic, this warning notice is issued in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations such as《中华人民共和国海关法》《中华人民共和国进出境动植物检疫法》. The early warning measures are as follows:
1. It is forbidden to import pigs, wild boars and their products directly or indirectly from Laos.
Second, increase the quarantine inspection of the delivery materials and passengers from Laos. Once found, it will be returned or destroyed.
3. On the means of transport such as ships, aircraft, road vehicles and railway trains, if pigs, wild boars and their products from Laos are found, they shall be sealed and disposed of, and during the stay or operation in China, without the permission of the customs, Do not open and use. The waste, drowning, etc. shall be treated harmlessly under the supervision of the Customs and shall not be abandoned without authorization.
4. The illegally imported pigs, wild boars and their products from Laos intercepted by the frontier defense departments shall be destroyed under the supervision of the Customs.The relevant regulations are handled.
6. All customs units shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of《中华人民共和国海关法》《中华人民共和国进出境动植物检疫法》, cooperate closely to do quarantine, epidemic prevention and supervision.
